OnePlus 2 available on Open Sale, buy one without an Invite
OnePlus is holding its first open sale on the OnePlus 2 across the world. The smartphone fans will be able to purchase the device without invitation for the first time since it was unveiled in August. However customers only has an hour to do so.
“You’ve been very patient as we’ve worked to roll out our new flagship phone to our fans around the world,” writes OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei on the company’s official forum. “We know that we could’ve made this experience much more smooth for our users, and we appreciate your patience.” He added.
“On Monday, October 12, we are holding the first-ever OnePlus 2 open sales for one hour in four different time zones.”
The OnePlus 2 sale will kick off at 12 p.m. locally in all four markets — Asia, Europe, India, and North America — and will close at 1 p.m. Those in Asia, Europe, and North America can purchase the device from the OnePlus online store, while OnePlus fans in India can get their piece from Amazon.in.
However, there is a condition, Customers can only have two devices per order, but there is no limit to the number of orders you could place, OnePlus says. That means you could get as many OnePlus 2 as possible but you will have to make multiple orders.
“As we are expecting high demand, the order processing days may differ from the normal times,” Pei explains. “Your estimated shipping time-frame will be displayed at checkout during the open sale.
If you order a OnePlus 2 through the open sale, and then receive an invite, you can cancel your order placed via open sale and repurchase using the invite to get the device delivered faster. For more information, go to Pei’s post via the source link below.
