MeegoPad T08 Windows mini PC has a built-in Projector
The Chinese company MeeGoPad has launched a new model called the MeegoPad T08, a tiny desktop computer powered by an Intel Atom Cherry Trail processor and running on Windows 10. And you get a built-in projector that can be handy for presentation.
In terms of specs, the computer packs an Atom x5-Z8300 or x5-Z8500 processor, up to 4GB of RAM, and up to 64GB of storage. Device has 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, a micro USB 2.0 port, a microSD card slot, a headset jack, and HDMI output and input that lets you use the device as a projector for other hardware.
Some models also features a sort of virtual touchscreen feature that lets you to project a Windows desktop on a screen and interact with it by using a pen to tap or draw on the projected images.
I haven’t seen any details about the release date or retail price yet, but wholesalers can order units from Alibaba for $300 or less… as long as they’re willing to place an order of at least 100 units.
MeegoPad T08 also packs a 12,000 mAH battery that come useful when you want to watch movies or deliver presentations without connecting it into wall jack. However, built-in projector may not provide as crispy images as you might expect. Considering its size and specs it is fair to assume a low resolution and should work better in a room with dim light.
Unfortunately there is no details on pricing, but wholesalers can buy the device at Alibaba for $300 or less if willing to place an order of at least 100 units. And those interested individuals need to note that the company has very bad reputation when it comes to OS licensing loaded in its products. So don’t be surprised if you have to pay some extra bucks for genuine Windows license.
