2017 Genesis G90 more details revealed; to come with optional 420hp V8 Engine

You might have heard about next luxury car from Hyundai called Genesis G90 but details on its specifications were a mystery other than the new name that the car will carry instead of its original brand name Hyundai. Genesis G90 is the first in line of luxury cars from the company that will no longer use its brand name Hyundai. Now we have got a few pictures that detail what the car actually looks like both inside and outside as well as specifications details.

The first thing you might notice when you look at the front of the car will be its logo, that no longer looks the same and then the badge that carries the name of the car, EQ900 and the upright grille. At a first look the car’s front follows the current Hyundai Genesis sedan.

Inside the car you have a 22-way adjustable driver seat and 14-way adjustable rear seats for the passengers while at the front there is a 12.3-inch dashboard display along with Lexicon audio, and tri-zone climate control giving its interior overall nice and cozy look. Moreover, For the optimal of the drivers body, the seat, steering wheel, outside mirror, and head-up display automatically adjusted by the Smart Posture Caring (SPC for short ) system and there is advanced adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist functions but it is yet to be knows what it actually means despite the promise of offering “a first-class, all-but-autonomous driving experience.”

Under the hood there is a 311hp V6 with a 365hp V6 as an upgrade and a 420hp V8 engine as the top of the line power plant. The base V6 may not be offered in the States and there is the mid-range 3.3-liter V-6 engine that has twin-turbos and can produce 365 horsepower. Regardless of the engine models, they are backed by an eight-speed automatic transmission and Rear-wheel drive come standard. Optional feature is H-TRAC all-wheel drive.

When it comes to wheels, G90 has a 124.4-inch wheelbase and is 204.9-inches long overall with a width of 75.4-inches.

Hyundai plans to make six cars in the Genesis range by 2020,  means the Genesis G90 is just the beginning of the new luxury sedan series. And now you might be wondering about its price, unfortunate! price details are yet to be revealed. The G90 will make its first debut in Detroit in January.
