Giroptic takes Pre-orders for 360cam Camera; pricing $499
Giroptic’s 360cam was launched a while ago but hasn’t been available for purchase yet. Now the company has began taking preorders for the 360° camera. Giroptic 360cam comes with three cameras and lenses and three microphones and the videos and pictures shot by this camera can be viewed with a VR headsets and the mobile app designed for that.
THe 360cam can shoot videos at 2048p 2K and 4096p 4K. As the recorded footage is stitched in-camera, it doesn’t require a post-processing. Users can capture content, view it, and share it with a smartphone and the maker also provides mobile app through which you can also control camera functionality.
Giroptic’s 360cam offers various modes including time lapse mode that lets you combine snapshots into a video, photo burst mode that lets you take photos rapidly and video modes that lets you record ordinary videos. The camera also has WiFi functionality for a live mode which let users broadcast footage of an event as it happens and share it with others.
Giroptics has opened pre-order for the 360cam with shipping date as “Winter 2015” that means by the end of Dec 2015. The camera us priced at $499 USD, being $50 for shipping to the US.
