The Google Pixel C 2-in-1 Tablet hits the Play Store; pricing from $499

You can’t have forgotten Google Pixel C which was unveiled along with Nexus 5X and 6P back in September, but it took a while before Google finally released it. Luckily the device has now hit the store and available for purchase. You can purchase the 2-in-1 tablet from Google Play Store for a price of $499 for the 32GB model or $599 for the 64GB model.

In terms of specs, the Google Pixel C is built around Nvidia Tegra K1 chipset  and sports 10.2-inch display with a resolution of 2560 by 1800 pixels. Google Pixel C is actually an Android laptop. The device uses a display with a 1:√2 aspect ratio that is closer to the aspect ratio of Microsoft Surface tablet, 3:2.

Other features include 3GB of RAM, a USB Type-C connector, and either 32GB or 64GB of integrated storage space.

When it comes to software, Pixel C runs on  Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is eligible for all of its software updates – including the monthly security updates. There is also an optional keyboard for $150, which enables you to use the device exactly like a laptop.

Countries which Google Pixel C is available include Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, and the USA.
