The LG G3 gets Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update

Finally LG has officially started rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for LG G3. There was a report that the device would get the update soon. The update is now released in Poland, and it may take a while to reach other parts of the world.

The update should bring all the Marshmallow Goodies as well as bugs and fixes if any. The major Android 6.0 features include Doze which puts your device in deep sleep in order to save the battery life; Google Now on Tap which adds contextual search to your handset and redesigned app permissions.

According to reports, both 16 and 32 GB versions of the device is eligible for the update. However, the update has to be installed via a PC as the OTA update is not available at least for now, though it could happen eventually. You can check for the update manually by going to your phone Settings.
