Some gamers may want a really badass gaming system like Maingear Alpha 34, but what if you don’t want such a huge system that can’t be taken with you on the go? Then you need a laptop powerful enough to run some moderately demanding games and that is what the brand new Razer Blade Stealth gaming ultrabook is for.

The gaming notebook is light-weight and thin and measures just 0.5 inches thick and weighs in at  just 2.75 pounds. In terms of specs, the 12.5-inch ultrabook packs a Core i7 Skylake processor and 8GB of RAM.

The laptop has a host of connectivity features too,  HDMI 1.4b, two USB 3.0 ports, stereo speakers, 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1. And the ultrabook gets its power from a beefy a 45 Wh battery.

However, what makes the Razer Blade Stealth is its desktop graphics enclosure called Razer Core, in case you need ridiculous graphics power for some titles. The Razer desktop graphics enclosure supports most recent AMD or NVDIDIA graphics cards and connects to the laptop via with a Thunderbolt 3/USB 3.1 Type C connector.

A starting model of the Razer Blade Stealth is priced at $999 and you will get a  a 2560 x 1440 pixel display, 128GB of storage, and a Core i7-6500U processor under the hood while High-end model with 512GB of storage and a 3840 x 2160 pixel display is priced  $1599. one thing note though, this price doesn’t cover the Razer Core or a desktop graphics card.

The Razer Core desktop graphics also features  four USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, and a 375 watt power supply. The gaming rig measures 13.4″ x 8.6″ x 4.1″.

Pricing for the desktop enclosure is yet to be revealed while release should be somewhere in the first half of 2016.
