Samsung Galaxy TabPRo S Windows 10 2-in-1 Tablet debuts with full Specs Details; no pricing yet

Finally it is confirmed the Galaxy TabPRO S which was leaked hours before Samsung’s CES press event is actually what was expected, a Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet with detachable keyboard. The tablet is coming with optional  proprietary Bluetooth Pen and a multi-port adapter.

The tablet’s design follows the usual Android Galaxy Tab, but naming the device with Windows 10 after its Android devices was felt a bit strange when the device was first leaked. Now we assume this is a marketing strategy to get the device more attention in the market, especially when availability of the 2-in-1 Windows 10 tablets from different companies is growing day by day. However, it seems that the company hasn’t completely ditched its ATIV brand for its Windows 10 devices and Samsung did introduce a couple of Windows 10 devices with that brand name at CES 2016.

In terms of specs, Samsung Galaxy TabPRO S is powered by Intel’s 6th generation Skylake Core M dual-core 2.26GHz processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The tablet rocks a big 12″ Super AMOLED display of 1440p resolution and will comes with 128GB or 256GB SSD, a rear 5MP AF camera and a front 5MP shooter.

On the connectivity side, the tablet features LTE Cat.6,  Wi-Fi  and Bluetooth. The device gets its power from a Juicy 5,200 mAh battery and can run on either Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro. There is also a full-sized keyboard cover featuring a touchpad and a flexible hinge that also acts like kickstand.

There are two optional accessories, a Bluetooth Pen and an optional port adapter. The adapter features a host of ports HDMI, regular USB and USB Type-C ports while the tab itself only has single USB Type-C port.

Finally pricing and availability, Samsung hasn’t revealed pricing for the Galaxy TabPRO S but release date for both WiFi and LTE models are set to somewhere in February 2016.
