Casio WSD-F10 rugged Android Wear Smartwatch releases; pricing $500

Casio is not new to the smart devices like smartphone, but when they do, they make sure it is tough enough to withstand severe conditions and this time the company is coming with its new Android Wear-powered smartwatch dubbed the Casio WSD-F10 with rugged design making it different from other bunch out in the market.

Unlike mainstream smartwatches, the Casio WSD-F10 is a bit chunkier but that is definitely for a reason and may not be big deal if you would really appreciate its rugged design with the capability of water resistance up to 50 meters.

In terms of specs, the Casio smartwatch comes with a 1.32 inch, 320 x 300 pixel capacitive touchscreen display, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and directional and atmospheric sensors as well as a gyrometer and accelerometer.

The device is MIL-STD-810G tested and specially designed for outdoor use and offers 5 levels of screen brightness. The watch can also displays sunrise and sunset time, and measure height up to 32,800 feet, and track activities including walking, running, climbing, and cycling.

All these features are yours for $500, that is a bit steep though. The Casio WSD-F10 is now available for purchase from Amazon and the Google Store.
