HP to launch the thinnest Laptop Tomorrow; to feature 13.3-inch Display, 11 mm Thickness
Although the PC market might be shrinking, competitions over titles and claims like thinnest and smallest are going to stay. Apple, Microsoft, Dell, and Lenovo are the most well-known manufacturers with such thin and light-weight laptops. While there are already several thin and small laptops and 2-in-1 devices, HP seems to be set to launch a device that might become world’s thinnest laptop on the market. New details were revealed by HP’s Dion Weisler, the chief executive of HP Inc.
Dion Weisler went on to say that the new laptop beats the best effort by Apple and HP’s PC’s are still hip and innovative.
The laptop dubbed after its Spectre edition is expected to sport a 13.3-inch screen and 11 mm thickness. However, other specs details are yet to be revealed.
“For years, Apple has been seen as the innovator and the driver of innovation,” said Ron Coughlin, president of HP’s personal systems group. “HP is really taking over that mantle.”
The move should not come as surprise and with the launch of powerful Windows 10 smartphone HP Elite X3, the company has already proven its willingness to compete in innovations and design with companies of its like.
