Oppo F1 Plus Smartphone Global Release begins; pricing €389

Oppo has started rolling out Oppo F1 Plus  and now available in select markets. The smartphone will go on sale in May in Europe with a price tag of £299 in the UK and €389 elsewhere. The F1 Plus will go on sale for INR 26990 ($400) in India. The device will carry almost the same price tag in Southeast Asia, North Africa and the Middle East although exact numbers are yet to be revealed.

In terms of specs, the F1 Plus is nothing more than the international version of the Oppo R9. The smartphone sports a 5.5″ 1080p AMOLED screen and packs an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10, 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal memory.

The phone with a 16MP front shooter mated with an f/2.0 lens is one of the best options for selfie maniacs out there and on the back is 13MP camera with 5-element lens, f/2.2 aperture and 80.6-degree FoV.

The device measures at 151.8 x 74.3 x 6.6mm and a weighs in at 145g with a battery of 2,850mAh with VOOC Flash Charge.

The Oppo F1 Plus is offered in Gold and Rose Gold colors and will go on sale India starting mid-April. The device will hit all Oppo markets although in some markets like Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore and Australia will have it with the R9 branding.
