Gigabyte unveils Compact BRIX Gaming PC with GeForce 1070, Core i7-6700K; Specs in tow
Gigabyte has been selling little desktop PCs under its BRIX brand for a few years. A few models are modest, low-power, and cheap, while others are smaller desktop gaming rigs.
But the most up to date Gigabyte BRIX doesn’t follow suite. It’s an intense gaming machine with an Intel Core i7-6700K quad-center processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics, and a particular new outline that makes the PC’s cooling system look deliberate.
The PC also has an exhaust system that attracts air from the base of the PC and pushes it out through vents in the top. The top of the case additionally has a light bar that works with an Ambient LED program that allows you to adjust the shading automatically depending on various criteria.
Measuring 15″ x 10.1″ x 5″, the BRIX-GZ1DTi7-1070GB GW is one of the biggest from the BRIX family. In any case, it’s still small by gaming PC standards, and offers some decent touches including an arrangement of ports on the base of the PC that lets you connect to a power cable, monitor cable, Ethernet, and speakers and a little opening in the stand helps reduce cable mess a bit.
Other specs include as follows:
- 16GB of RAM
- 240GB M.2 SSD
- 1TB 2.5 inch 7200 RPM hard drive
- 1 Thunderbolt 3/USB-Type C port
- 1 USB 3.1 Type-A port
- 5 USB 3.0 Type-A ports
