Volkswagen teases its New T-Cross, VW’s smallest SUV
Getting closer to official launch, VW has released a teaser video of its upcoming T-Cross, a baby SUV inspired by the T-Cross Concept from the Paris Auto Show two years ago. T-Cross will be VW’s smallest SUV and will be launched later this year.
In the teaser video, we can see a bunch of sketches with possible features and design aspects. In the sketch, the production-spec T-Cross will have a taillights connected by a solid light bar stretching the width of the rear.
In the front of the car, there is a square fog light surrounds and a headlight and front grille design, which look similar to the latest-generation Volkswagen Tiguan.
When it comes to specs, we think the T-Cross will sport similar specs to the larger T-Roc, featuring a 187 hp 2.0-liter TSI, a 147 hp 2.0-liter TDI, 147 hp 1.5-liter TSI, 113 hp 1.6 TDI, and a 187 hp 2.0 TDI.
The T-Cross will only feature front-wheel drive, however customers could choose between a dual-clutch transmission and a six-speed manual.
The new Volkswagen T-Cross will be manufactured in Brazil.
