Logitech G29 Wheel & Shifter Unboxing And Review
When it comes to racing wheel, there are several option available in the market racing from Logitech to Fanatec, but Logitech G29 is one that many finds affordable and reliable and Logitech G29 and G920 has already been welcomed by masses. Despite being dual motor system used in the wheel, the wheel offers pretty solid racing experience whether it be Forza, Project Cars or Dirty Rally, the wheel works well with all major titles. The bundle comes with both pedal board and Wheel, if you are into manual-gearing than automatic, Logitech also offers a standalone shifter called Driving Force Shifter with 6 speeds and a push-down reverse gear.
The wheel looks pretty premium with largely metal ring and leather finish, unlike its counterpart Thrustmaster’s equivalent. Yup! Thrustmaster does offer pretty smooth system under the hood with its belt system than dual motor system, that many will find far better and smoother than the Logitech G29, but for beginners who wanna start out sim racing and don’t want to break the bank, Logitech G29 is darn good and should not notice the difference, that too for far lower price. And Logitech’s established brand and its after-sale support is something considerable, and many other brands like Thrustmaster fail to offer sometimes.
