How to download and install Android Apps via PC from Google Play Store & Mobogenie
Smartphones and tablets are the devices we nowadays use to keep connected on the go as well as playing games and videos and Android is the OS that powers majority of smartphones and tablets in market. The devices come in both cellular and non-cellular mode aka WiFi only, but when it comes to WiFi you are often stuck with lack of WiFi connection and you won’t be able to download an application from Google Play Store till you have a WiFi connection or you find an alternative way to do it. Well, if you are still lacking a WiFi connection, these two tricks may help you download and install Android APK file on your WiFi-only tablet or any Android devices. But as the title suggests, you will at least need a PC with internet connection.
There are two ways to do it, you either download it from Play Store to your PC using Android APK downloader extension or use a third party app services like Mobogenie which will directly install Android apps to your device via USB cable.
1.Install APK Downloader on Chrome and start downloading Android Apps.
To do this, first you need to install Chrome browser, if you haven’t yet got the browser, install Chrome browser. Once you installed the Chrome browsers, just head over to Download Android Apps. Scroll down until you see the button “Install Extension Now”, click it and the extension installer will ask you if you want to install the extension, just click ‘Add’, the extension will be installed on your Chrome browser.
Not over yet. Once the extension is installed on your device, you will be taken to a new window which will prompt you to enter you email ID that you use on your Android device Play Store and password as well as GSF ID KEY that is something related to Google Service Framework.
So hope things went fine so far. Now you need to get the GSF ID KEY from your Android tablet/smartphone. To do this, just open up dialer pad and dial *#*#8255#*#* and it will open up a new page, scroll down a bit and you will see something called “Device ID” which starts with “android” prefix like android-1234567890abcdef, then your GSF ID is 1234567890abcdef.
Alternatively, You can use Android Device ID app to get your GSF ID, but note, it will show both device ID and GSF ID and what we need is GSF.
Now go back to the APK extension webpage and enter the GSF ID and hit the verify/sign in button. Make sure you have entered the email id and password as well before you hit the button.
You are almost ready. And i know you are excited to start your first Android app download? go to Google Play Store and sign in. Search the app you want to download and head over to the page. Now you can see a new Android APK download button on the right side of the page URL / next to the Android App “Install” button as “Download APK”, hit the button and save the APK file wherever you wish. Once downloaded the APK file, just transfer the file to your Android device via USB and install the app.
Alternatively, if you don’t want to install the Extension on your browser, you can use the “Generate Download Link” form to download Android app. All you have to do is to just copy the url of Google Play store Android app and paste it in the control and hit the “Generate Download Link” and it will generate the link to download the APK file, hit the button to download the file. But I would suggest installing the extension especially if you don’t want to do this processor each time you want to download an app.
2. How to use Mobogenie to install Android apps directly to your smartphone /tablet from PC
Mobogenie is a third party application service from which you can download major Android apps just like Google Play Store. But what makes the Mobogenie different is its seamless service via PC. If you have installed the Mobogenie on your PC, you don’t need to go through the processes above.
Installing app from Mobogenie is straightforward. Just install Mobogenie on your PC and connect your Android device to your PC.
Now you will be asked to connect with Mobogenie if not, just launch Mobogenie and click connect. And it will install Mobogenie on your device.
Once everything went well fine, just go to the device ‘Settings’ and scroll down to the “Developer Options”, turn it on, it will warn you, just click ‘Ok’. Now scroll down a bit and find “USB Debugging”, check the option, and it will also pop up a dialogue box, just click ‘Ok’.
Now you can see the device screen on Mobogenie. You are set to install new apps, choose the app you want and hit the ‘Install’ button. The app will be installed in a few minutes or second depending on your internet connection speed. You can see the installation status from ‘Tasks’, down left corner of the window.
So now you are set to download any applications from Google Play Store or Mobogenie via your PC. Google Play store is certainly the great source for your all kind of Android apps including games, seo apps or educational apps.
